Happy New Year!

Posted by Sundeep Kapur | Tuesday, January 01, 2008

This has been one great year of learning, so many great ideas implemented by online marketers across industry. Here are only a handful along with our thanks:

To Lilly,
We absolutely love your blog. It is a true guide to help others get started. You have created an outstanding sense of community with your customers and prospects. Visit them for your own inspiration.

To the Bird Lady,
Your contest this year was a great way to engage your customers. Was it the cardinal or the canary that won your last contest – find out on their site.

To the HUGE TEAM at Herrington,
We love your energy; the ideas on click throughs and segmentation were very well thought out and executed even better. We can't wait for you to share these ideas at our annual conference. Seriously every five minutes I spend with them on the phone is about two pages worth of ideas.

To PJ & other Master Bakers :)
Not only do we love your scones, cookies, brownies… but we totally devour the way you maintain dialogue with your readers through recipes. Your readers look forward to the many things you write about.

To the King of Micro-Segmentation,
Your ability to capture, track and target preferences is a lesson for us all; learn from Coastal Federal Credit Union.

To the Chief Tormentor,
We love the games and picture contests as well as the community of devoted nuts. Learn to talk to your people like the Chief Tormentor.

Best wishes for 2008, it will be the year of customer service with email as the primary driver. Thank you all for your support.

Thanks, Yogi! Great wrap-up. We here at King Arthur look forward to another great year of e-mails (about 82 or so), and a great new world of blogs (probably 215, more or less, but who's counting?), all devoted to good things you can bake and share and enjoy. Cheers to one and all- PJH
